Catch ‘Em With a Catchy Catch Phrase or Off the Wall Promotion…

Most businesses are very conservative advertisers and for good reason. They want a professional image projected to the public.

Here is some food for thought. Think about all the catch phrases, tag lines and jingles that have “quality”, “the best” or use “100% guaranteed” in their advertising. Now ask yourself, how many of those can you remember? No one specifically right?

How about trying a little provocative angle for your next promotion? Image is very important, but what is going to GRAB attention?

You may want to try a baby phrase or puppy power in your next ad or perhaps you could develop a mascot or spokesperson related to your business. (Please be careful with copyright materials!)

You may want to tell a joke in your promotion or have your staff dress up for a theme photo shot.

Have you ever considered using a celebrity in your materials? And what the heck… if all else fails have you ever tried a little suggestive twist? Anybody remember a recent “Viagra” ad… if you recalled it, it worked! It grabbed your attention.

Once you develop your ad theme, BE CONSISTENT, ASK OTHERS WHAT THEY THINK and TRACK YOUR RESULTS. If people are talking, your advertising is working!
