Holiday Marketing Is It Worth It?

Is it worth it for your business to market during the holidays? Unless you’re a retail owner, or have gift certificates to sell, I say NO.
There are so many messages that are going out at the end of the year. End of year statements, last minute email blasts, membership renewals are just some of the heavy hitting media during December.Think about your own attention span, if it’s after December 15, it pretty much is on the back burner until the first of the year. If you are buying anything right now, it is for friends and family.
A personal Greeting card (send out a card on me!) that is just a little unique is more likely to grab their attention rather than any media placement, so use the time and money you spend on marketing every other month to PLAN an aggressive campaign for January 1!
