Make time for free PR

As with any marketing plan, I find it easiest to take action in bits and pieces. Make sure you are looking at your PR potential every month.

We’ve got a Southeastern Michigan media list going, send me an e-mail I will be happy to share my latest version with you. But how do you make time to do it?

Keep a log of all the “stories” that happen evey day with you business. Look at it once a month to see what might make a good story.

Start writing. Keep in mind… what, where, how, why and when. Note why you are different than your competition. Try to get quotes form clients, employees, community members, associates. Make it relate to current events. Indicate how you re-invented your industry by this story. Think…What is in this story for the reader?
