OK, So Now What Do I Post?
By Kathy on Jun 25, 2009 in On Line Networking
I recently attended a program with Tim Somers of Bizarre Promotions and came away with these great ideas for daily postings to our many social networking sites.
20% of the time you should be posting tips. How can you be helpful to people who are following you or are your on-line friends?
20% of your posts should be asking questions. This is better than google sometimes for percise and effective solutions for your business or for your clients.
20% of your time you can post promotions. Yes, what is near and dear to your heart is always good to post. But if you do include your family or personal information in your post, I suggest that it be related to your business.
20% of the posting should be answering posts & answering questions. Don’t ignore anyone who comments on your posts!
The final 20% of your time can be posting information, news, quotes and anything else, you yourself might find interesting.
Remember, on-line networking is just like face to face networking in that it is not all about YOU. Take time to find out about others and you will benefit more than by just posting promotions. Thanks for the reminder Tim!
My Best,
Kathy Kane
